Award Winning House

Yes, we are biased, we love the house and think it's great, but...
We were very pleased and honored to be selected for a Greek art-style book of homes in Greece. Our beach house was selected out of 3000 photo entries. We had a photoshoot of the house and were featured in 6 pages of the book.

Where is Potidea?

Potidea Beach is right at the entrance of the Kassandra Peninsula, the "first leg" of Halkidiki, as it is known as. It is 60 km from Thessaloniki. It is about a 30 minute drive from the Thessaloniki airport.

Our home is located next to Oasis Villas, a rental property.

House Desciption

We have a beach house or shall I say Villa (love that word, sounds so fancy) in Potidea (Halkidiki) Greece. We are located 30 minutes from the Thessaloniki airport.
The home sits on a large beachfront property with a spectacular view, with the sea right below us. You take a short, dirt path down to a beautiful semi-private beach. The beaches in Halkidiki are said to be some of the best in all of Greece.
The house has three bedrooms, two bathrooms, grand living room/dining area, plus living room on top floor with two daybeds, a large sit down kitchen, and 4 balconies...that's right four, so you can always find a spot to be "alone" in a house full of people.

"Happily Ever After"

This is our "Happily Ever After" home in Potidea, Halkidiki, Greece. We wanted to give our home a name and we thought this was most fitting. Our family always dreamed of building this house on a very large beachfront property and finally started the project in 2006. This is a family home where we spend our summers, enjoying our days at the sea right below us. My husband and I grew up countries apart and it was very difficult merging our lives. We feel blessed that we now have two boys to make our family complete and that is why we call this our Happily Ever After home.
This beach house gives us and our guests much joy...the view of the sea is spectacular, children and adults love playing sports on the large property, others enjoy meals or a cocktail on the newly built stone gazebo...it's pure magic!
The home has three bedrooms (plus 2 daybeds), a grand living/dining room area, a large sit down kitchen, two bathrooms, four balconies where you can eat, have drinks, or hide from your fellow housemates!
Since it is a home that we use as a family, no detail or utility is spared. Our guests feel right at home because it is a real home, not like a rental property that often has the bare minimum.
